How To Stop Your Girlfriend From Breaking Up With You

So you suspect that it's about over, or it is over according to her anyway. Don't despair as there are ways that you can stop your girlfriend from breaking up with you.

This is what you should never do:

• Do not whine, cry, beg her to take you back or act like a whimp. This never works. It only shows her how immature and needy you are. Women do not like immature or needy men.
• Do not chase her or stalk her. She will only run farther away from you.
• Do not constantly call, text or e-mail her.
• Do not write derogatory things about her on the Internet.
• Do not threaten or harass her in any way.
• Do not complain to her friends and family about the breakup.
• Do not purposely hang out in places that she will be.
• Do not go to her house or place of employment.
• Do not try to make her jealous.
  

If you are doing any of the above, you should stop it immediately. This is only making things worse for your chance to ever get back together.

This is what you should be doing:

• Get on with your life. Go out with friends and have some fun.
• If you do see her out somewhere and she comes up to you to talk, make small talk with her and then leave like you're late for something important.
• If she calls you on the phone or leaves you a text or e-mail, don't respond immediately. Wait awhile when you "have the time".
• Act cool around her, like the breakup doesn't matter.

I know these things will be hard to do when all you really want is to have her back. But it will be to your advantage in the long run. What happens is that she will know that she is no longer in control of your life, that you are having fun without her and she won't be able to stand it. When she makes the first move back to you, I know that you will be jumping up and down inside, but don't let her know it. You still have to be Mr. Cool for awhile and she will be the one trying to get you back.
